About the
Role:
We are looking for a Temporary Warehouse Receiving & Inventory Coordinator to support merchandise operations by ensuring accurate inventory counts, adnce to packing and labeling standards, and timely processing in coordination with a third-party warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in warehouse receiving and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact between internal teams and third-party warehouse partners to align on outbound schedules and priorities.
Track and report inventory accuracy, stock levels, and receiving updates to internal stakeholders.
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies by comparing warehouse and internal records.
Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory reconciliations.
Oversee inbound shipments, ensuring accurate receiving and documentation of merchandise.
Perform physical inventory audits to confirm quantities against packing lists and system records.
Ensure all merchandise meets labeling, packing, and compliance standards.
Coordinate with warehouse partners to guarantee timely ingestion of inventory into fulfillment systems.
Validate SKU labeling and barcoding to maintain inventory accuracy.
Monitor warehouse practices to ensure compliance with packaging, shipping, and storage guidelines.
Report any inventory issues, damages, or non-compliance concerns to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
1-3 years of experience in warehouse receiving, inventory management, or logistics (experience in merchandise or retail industry preferred).
Strong understanding of inventory control, SKU tracking, and warehouse procedures.
Experience with third-party logistics (3PL) providers is a plus.
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination.
Physical ability to lift and move merchandise as needed for inventory activities.
Work Environment:
On-site warehouse setting involving physical tasks such as walking, lifting, and inventory inspection.
May require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of boxes or merchandise.
Standard working hours, with the potential for occasional overtime based on inventory needs.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
