3620 Hacks Cross Road, Memphis, TN 38125, United States Description Responsible for the supply chain management functions associated with the purchase of aircraft parts and aircraft component maintenance, repair and overhaul services ensuring aircraft are mission ready. Develop and deploy inventory planning strategies, manage aircraft asset maintenance services, and procure required inventory to ensure supply chain continuity for aircraft materiel. Using data analytics, identify risks and opportunities to the supply chain and take appropriate action. Other duties as assigned. Essential Functions Coordinates the efforts of other Materiel workgroups and assists manager in coordinating projects within Materiel and other departments.
Maintains a fully functional relationship with the customer (internal or external) and addresses material issues that arise during scheduled maintenance activities.
Identifies and leads complex projects that could include personnel external to FedEx Express.
Develops and implements best practices for organizational implementation.
Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree/equivalent preferably in Aerospace, Business, Supply Chain Management, or quantitative discipline. Minimum Experience Five (5) years related experience in supply chain management required preferably in aviation associated with inventory planning, purchasing, repairs, warranty, project planning and supplier dispute resolution. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Advanced working knowledge of inventory management software. Advanced Office 365 skills. Proven project management skills. Proven organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to review and interpret parts catalogs and technical documentation (i.e., manuals, drawings, schematics, engineering documents, etc.), desktop procedures and job aids. Ability to perform advanced analysis and provide recommendations related to root cause to various levels of management. Ability to develop peers through mentoring, coaching and training.

Pay Transparency:

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
