Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and the ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
Job Requirements:
- Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, and move and stock materials and cartons
- Receive, sort, organize and verify inventory
- Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse environment
- Assist with storage, shipping, purchasing and receiving operations
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service to customers
- Maintain warehouse security, inventory and billing systems
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
- Proven forklift operation experience (certification a plus)
- Strong organizational, record-keeping and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g. 50 lbs] and stand for extended periods
- Dependable and team-oriented but can work independently
- English fluency and computer proficiency with MS Office, bar coding and inventory systems
- Basic math skills
- Customer service and communication clarity and professionalism
- Valid Driver’s License and clear driving record
