Material Handler 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 260 Valley Street, Ball Ground, GA 30107 Material Handler for our Powder Coating department – Join Our Outstanding Manufacturing Team! Do you like to stay active, work with your hands, and be part of a team that builds amazing products? We’re hiring a Material Handler in Powder Coating to help us move and prepare large metal components for finishing—bringing them to life with vibrant, durable powder coating! This is a physically active role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our metal awnings and structures are handled safely and efficiently throughout the finishing process.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Move and stage metal components for powder coating with care and precision. Work closely with the team to lift, hang, and prepare items—some up to 100 lbs. Drill holes and position materials on overhead racks for coating and curing. Use air hoses to clean and dry parts, and help push/pull racks into ovens and booths. Maintain product quality while handling heavy and sometimes delicate materials. Follow instructions on job numbers, colors, and materials for each work order. Help with stacking, palletizing, and organizing finished products for shipping. Keep your work area clean and safe—because safety and teamwork are #1 here.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred. Able to safely lift and move 60-100 lb. items throughout the day. Comfortable using basic tools like drills and air hoses. Reliable, detail-oriented, and good at following instructions. A team player who communicates clearly and adapts easily. Safety-conscious and committed to doing things the right way every time.
