The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the warehouse. This includes receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Processing:
  • Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify the contents of incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Record and manage inventory using warehouse management software.

2.

Order Picking and Packing :
  • Accurately pick items from stock to fulfill orders.
  • Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring items are securely and properly packed.
  • Generate shipping labels and documents.

3.

Shipping and Distribution:
  • Load trucks for delivery.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Track shipments and resolve any shipping issues.

4.

Inventory Management:
  • Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
  • Replenish stock as needed and report low inventory levels.

Safety and Maintenance:
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor.

Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, orders, and shipments.
  • Prepare regular reports on warehouse activities and inventory levels.

7.

Customer Service:
  • Assist customers and clients with inquiries and order pickups.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification is a plus).
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
  • Warehouse environment with potential exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Hours:
  • 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday to
