Job Description
$18.50/hr. 1st shift 4AM-1PM (Mon-Fri) Can be 8-10 hour day. Temporary 4-6 weeks or longer Express Employment Professionals, Atlanta NE location, has an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse worker in the Doraville, GA area. You must be able to operate a cherry picker and read small printed labels. Attendance & Punctuality is a must to be successful in this role.
Required Experience:
- Cherry/Stock picker experience required
- Ability to lift & carry 50-75+ lbs
- Good attendance & punctuality
- Attention to detail
Requirements:
This job involves a lot of heavy lifting and working inside the containers during high heat periods.
Duties:
Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a Cherry Picker, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehousing equipment.
- Assists with physical inventories, cycle counting, and light data entry.
Process warehouse shipments, remove unallocated items from warehouse shipments, check in-bound shipments.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of two years of warehouse or distribution experience.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as cherry picker, forklift, hand truck etc.
- Basic math, reading and writing skills to perform required tasks.
- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, and lift up to 75LBS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing to stand for long periods of time.
