As a Dispatch Clerk, you will play a crucial role in coordinating driver schedules, managing route data, and ensuring efficient communication between drivers, customers, and the operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Collect information from drivers and driver manifests to update and maintain records. Accurately enter data into the central database system and ensure proper cataloging for easy reference. Monitor and track delivery schedules, ensuring all routes are appropriately tagged and marked in the system. Transfer physical records into a digital filing system and maintain organized filing structures. Generate periodic reports on delivery metrics, route efficiency, and driver performance. Retrieve data and generate reports as requested by the operations team or management. Collaborate with drivers and the dispatch team to address and resolve any routing or delivery issues. Index and file invoices for deliveries, ensuring accurate and accessible records. • Maintain and update the database system with current delivery and driver information. Assist with other dispatch-related administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, dispatch, or related office work . • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong computer skills and familiarity with dispatch and logistics software systems. Ability to enter data quickly and accurately under time constraints. Strong attention to detail and ability to think analytically to solve problems. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Comfortable using office equipment, including computers, telephones, scanners, and photocopiers. Previous experience in logistics or dispatching is a plus. #
