Warehouse Worker Robertson Produce 101 Horseshoe Lake Rd, Monroe, LA 71203

Summary of Position:

This position will be responsible for providing quality produce to our customers. The Warehouse Worker will also make sure the warehouse is maintained in a sanitary and organized condition.

Essential Functions:

• Pull customer orders (Puller)
• Load walk-in customer orders (day shift)
• Run produce to ensure quality
• Maintain slot readiness
• Maintain warehouse and facility cleanliness
• Unloading incoming deliveries
• Verify orders are pulled correctly before loading (Checker)
• Load orders onto trucks (Loader)
• Operate forklift (Forklift Operator)

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3 months warehouse experience, preferably a produce background

Qualifications:

• Must pass initial drug screens.
• Must be able to work Sunday nights.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to add and subtract.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to climb, and maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds in weight and regularly lift up to 6 feet in height.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, the ability to distinguish and identify colors, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• The working environment while performing the duties of this job requires the employee to frequently work near moving mechanical parts and exposed to extreme cold temperatures while pulling orders.
