Pineville, LA 71360 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Duties Operate warehouse equipment, including cranes and cherry pickers, to move materials and packages efficiently. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory control. Maintain organized storage areas, adhering to OSHA safety standards. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in managing stock levels. Handle materials with care during loading and unloading processes to prevent damage. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely deliveries. Assist in training new staff on warehouse procedures and equipment operation. Experience Previous experience in warehouse management or materials handling is preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus, including cranes and cherry pickers. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Understanding of inventory control systems and shipping/receiving processes is essential. A commitment to safety practices in accordance with OSHA regulations is required.
