ASAP We are hiring a Warehouse Worker for a full-time, temp-to-hire position with our client, a trusted fabrication facility located in Salem, Oregon. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys working in a warehouse environment. If you’re looking to join a team-oriented shop and put your skills to work in a high-energy environment, this is the opportunity for you in Salem, OR. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for: Receiving and verifying parts from various vendors
Process receipts of materials
Ship small and medium sized parcels, pallets, and possibly LTL loads at times
Picking parts for manufacturing BOM’s with a high degree of accuracy
Inputting data into ERP system to manage transactions
Utilizing carpentry skills to make small pallets and crates as needed
The ideal candidate for this role will have: 2-3 years of forklift experience in a warehouse, shop or manufacturing setting
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to read blueprints and shop prints to identify parts needed
Basic carpentry, math and computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and get on and off forklift multiple times per day
