This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, order picking, and shipping and receiving. A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this position. Duties Package products accurately and efficiently for shipment. Perform order picking duties, ensuring that all items are selected according to customer specifications. Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and updating records as necessary. Build pallets for shipping, ensuring that products are securely stacked and organized. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely within the warehouse. Utilize AS400 or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading trucks and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with package handling, order picking, and inventory management systems is advantageous. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes safely; certification may be required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical stamina to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Willingness to learn new skills related to warehouse operations.
