Machine Operator – General Labor Cousineau Wood Products 3 Valley Road, North Anson, ME 04958

Responsibilities:

On time and reliable attendance to work schedule. Safely operating various types of production machinery used to saw, cut, drill, dry, coat, and sand wood products. Following Job Safety and SOP instructions for the equipment or task assigned. Observe and comply with company and regulatory policies and laws pertaining to the work place.

Skills:

Ability to work in a fast paced rapidly changing environment. Capable of writing, reading, and understanding verbal and written communications. Proficient in solving basic mathematical problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and maintaining an accurate count over an extended period. Adept at working safely with a sense of urgency in a team or alone. Able to contribute ideas to improve as well as take criticism.

Education:

This is an entry level position however, experience working in the wood products industry or a production environment will be considered a plus. High School Graduate or GED preferred but may be overlooked with the right attitude, experience, and skills.

$17.00 – $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 39 – 48 per week
