Job Description
Warehouse Worker 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 1150 SE Century Drive, Lees Summit, MO 64081 Make sure customer orders are fulfilled accurately, on time and with the proper certifications required by customers – includes sample orders, all product orders, inventory management, warehouse management, and fabrication of product for customers. Essential Functions Essential Functions may include the following but are not limited to these functions. Other duties may be assigned. Accurately prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship). Identifies and reports important issues that affect the performance or function of the warehouse. Use iPad to take pictures of load outs to document customer pick up. Check inventory for in-stock orders and place special orders. Assist with stock inventory management when called upon through counts, reorders and sales activity or lack thereof. Fulfill shelf stock samples orders timely and accurately. Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, sort, label, store). Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits. Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization. Complete logs into inventory. Report discrepancies to supervisor/management. Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations. Prepare documentation (damaged stock, receipts, etc.). Perform other aligned duties as assigned by supervisor. Must understand and utilize standardized operations process. Warehouse experience is helpful however not required. Communication and Reading Skills Must display strong listening and reading skills when dealing with sales team in order to fully understand their needs and how we can help fulfill those needs including special instructions. Communicate orally and in written form in a clear, professional manner with appropriate demeanor; use proper etiquette in person and over the phone. Communicate clearly, persuasively, and professionally in positive or negative situations; adapt communication style to fit the individual customer, vendor or employee within the situation; ask questions to gain understanding of situations and individual needs; listens to others without interrupting to obtain clarification. Communicate with tact and diplomacy when delivering difficult messages.

The employee generally works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation.
