Delivery/Warehouse Worker Asheville Window & Door, Inc. 15 Walden Drive, Arden, NC 28704 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and delivery responsibilities, ensuring that products are efficiently loaded, unloaded, and delivered to customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be comfortable with heavy lifting and operating various equipment. Duties Load and unload products from delivery vehicles using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Safely operate delivery vans to transport goods to designated locations. Follow assigned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse inventory, ensuring all items are stored correctly. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Perform routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Strong ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 95 pounds) as required by the job. Excellent driving skills with a valid driver’s license; experience as a van driver or delivery driver is advantageous. Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
