Factory Full Job Description Job Summary Job Description:

As a Warehouse Associate you will perform the material handling, forklift operations, and warehouse functions that are required for the manufacturing, shipping/receiving, moving, storing, and packing of raw materials, purchased parts, and finished products.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have at least 3 years of forklift driving experience.
• Must have at least 3 years of warehouse/shipping/receiving experience.
• Able to read and understand factory orders, blueprints, and schematics.
• Able to read a tape measure down to at least 1/16″.
• Good math skills and able to add/subtract/multiply/divide with a calculator.
• Basic understanding and user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Top Candidates Qualifications may include:

• 5 years of forklift experience.
• 5 years warehouse/shipping/receiving experience.
• Experience handling steel or wood over 16 feet long with a forklift.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.
• Military Service.

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to work in fast paced, high pressure, heavy duty assembly environment.
• Employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally required to: o Climb, walk or balance using a ladder.

o Climb on a trailer. o Push or pull items.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting hourly pay rate of $17.00 per hour.
• For excellent attendance and safety: o $0.50 per hour pay incentive after first 90 days of employment o $0.50 per hour pay incentive after 6 months of employment
• 1st Shift Position, 40 hour work week with potential for Overtime. o Monday thru Thursday 7:00am to 5:30pm. o Friday Overtime 7:00am to 3:30pm. (as needed) o Saturday Overtime 7:00am to 3:30pm. (as needed)
• Military Service Premium at $1.00 per hour. o Must provide DD214 o Minimum of 2 years active duty military service o Honorable Discharge
• Paid Holidays after 90 days of employment.

• Safety Shoe Reimbursement Program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Follow all Plant Safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Work individually or on a team in a safety and quality focused environment.
• Will be required to use overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, or pallet jacks to move large components or parts in and out of an area.
• Will perform material handling, unloading/loading parts from tubs or baskets.
• Will share duties with Shipping & Receiving as needed.
• Will unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles.
• Will identify parts with identification numbers.
• Will store materials in their designated locations.
• Will transport raw materials via forklift to workstations.
• Will conduct the first line quality assessments of parts for damage or defects.
• Will work from a variety of documents to verify part numbers, locations, quantity.
• Will be required to pay attention to detail and be self-motivated.
• Will be required to Cross-Train in other areas to provide operational flexibility.
• Will be required to maintain neat and clean warehouse/storage areas.
• Perform other work related duties as assigned.
