To support our expanding operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant . This role is crucial to the success of our daily operations, ensuring our inventory is accurate, our warehouse is efficient, and our technicians are well-equipped for every job. Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:

Receive, unload, and check in shipments of HVAC equipment, parts, and materials. Verify the accuracy of incoming orders against packing slips and purchase orders, and report any discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment:

Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials and equipment for upcoming installation and service jobs, ensuring technicians have everything they need.

Data Entry and Tracking:

Utilize Microsoft Excel to meticulously track inventory levels, process returns, and maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities. Generate reports on inventory status, order history, and stock levels.

Warehouse Organization:

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Systematically arrange stock to ensure easy access and efficient order pulling.

Cycle Counts:

Assist in regular inventory cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy in our tracking systems.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures to create and maintain a safe working environment.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, drivers, and service technicians to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory. Candidates must be comfortable with creating and managing spreadsheets, using formulas, and generating reports. A skills assessment may be required. 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control role is preferred. Familiarity with HVAC parts and equipment is a significant plus, but not required. Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail. Strong basic math and data entry skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Forklift certification or a willingness to be trained is highly desirable.
