About the Role We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Worker / Driver to join our team! This role is a hybrid of delivery driving and hands-on warehouse support. You’ll be delivering orders to customers, restocking inventory, loading/unloading materials, helping maintain delivery vehicles, and contributing to daily shop operations. Key Responsibilities Deliver lumber orders throughout NYC and NJ using company vehicles (van and flatbed—no CDL required). Pick up materials and inventory from vendors. Load and unload trucks with accuracy and care. Help manage and organize warehouse inventory. Inspect and prepare outgoing orders for accuracy. Operate a forklift (strongly preferred). Maintain clean, safe, and well-functioning delivery vehicles. Assist with shop duties when not making deliveries. Interact with customers professionally and courteously. Work with the team to stay on schedule, adapt to changing priorities, and keep the day moving efficiently. Requirements Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Must pass a DOT physical. Experience driving large vans and flatbeds (no CDL required). Experience operating a forklift (strongly preferred). Able to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly throughout the day. Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Prior knowledge of lumber or building materials is a plus, but not required.
