We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Clerk to join our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) team in Bronx, NY. The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for managing the receiving, warehouse and distribution operations of the Bronx DSD facility. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager. This is a full-time position with amazing benefits and a Monday to Friday work schedule with hours being 10am-7pm. Job DescriptionReceiving and unloading of incoming shipmentsLoading trucks for outgoing deliveriesAssemble customer / driver orders including pulling cases, building pallets or racks, preparing for shipment and checking for pick accuracyMaintain inventory control, organization and cleanliness of the warehouseMoving and parking company box trucks in yardEnsure vehicles and equipment are safe, clean and maintained at all times; report any safety or deficiencies to managementMaintain personal, driving and food safety standards in accordance to the company’s policies and proceduresDeliver product direct to stores and/or customer warehouse, whenever neededPerform other duties or responsibilities, as assignedQualificationsAbility to use material handling equipment, specifically a forklift and pallet jackValid Driver’s License and no major driving infractions – background check will be conductedAbility to drive an 18 to 24 foot box truck, with liftgate (no Commercial Driver’s License required)Move product weighing up to 50lbsHighly motivated self-starterCreative problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate tactfully and effectively, both internally and externallyGood math and communication skills with the ability to read, write and speak EnglishAn enthusiastic, positive, self-motivated, resourceful team player is a mustProficiency in MS Outlook and Apple-based products (iPhone)

Pay Rate:

$21.00/hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
