What We Need:
We are looking for a Material Handler to join ourGunlocke team in Wayland, NY!
What You Will Do:
Loads, unloads, andmoves materials and product to the proper location.
- Package, orunpackage materials for movement
- May operate material movementequipment (forklift, hand truck, cart) to assist with materialmovement.
- Perform packing functions that may include buildingcartons, packing to standard, labeling with correct informationusing a shrink gun and transporting unit to proper location.
- Perform shipping and/or receiving functions to properly loadproduct onto correct material movement device (cart, truck,pallet).
- Keep a neat and orderly workstation.
- Participate ininventory counts.
- Wear all required PPE; work safely at all timesand report any unsafe condition to your Supervisor.
Perform CycleCounts Will be required to operate a forklift, must obtaincertification.
What You Have:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50pounds. Ability to stand, stoop and bend for extended periods oftime
