Part Time Warehouse Associate Position Available In Chester, Pennsylvania

Part Time Warehouse Associate Cavanaugh Wall Solutions, Inc. 602 Jeffers Cir, Exton, PA 19341 We are looking to add a motivated, detail-oriented team player to our growing operation. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver position assists the Warehouse Manager in maintaining order throughout our four small warehouses and loading company vehicles with materials and equipment for the next morning’s deliveries to our various job sites.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Warehouse Duties (Daily)

• Empty any remaining contents of delivery vehicles upon their return each day, including any equipment, materials, pallets, boxes, and all trash
• Clean all ‘returned’ equipment, and perform routine maintenance
• Reshelve this returned equipment to its assigned location
• Label all left-over materials returning from a job site and re-shelve them
• Shelve new materials as they arrive from our suppliers
• Rip down plywood on panel saw and restock plywood ‘pack-out’ inventory as needed
• Keep an eye on inventory stock levels and report any needed materials or equipment Vacuum/Sweep up as needed Vehicle Loading (Daily)
• Review each project’s ‘load list’ as generated by the Warehouse Manager
• Working from those lists, stage materials and equipment for loading
• Once a delivery itinerary and the sequence has been established, load delivery vehicles neatly and correctly Check off items on list as you load them and provide a copy of your checked list to the office. Vehicle Maintenance (Weekly)
• Thoroughly clean and vacuum our delivery vehicles at least once a week
• Clean windshield, rearview mirrors, and other glass as needed to maintain safe driving conditions
• Wipe down the dashboard and center console with ‘vinyl cleaner’ as needed
• Ensure routine maintenance is performed within 2 days of being identified
• Notify Warehouse Manager immediately of more serious mechanical issues General
• Ad hoc duties as defined by Warehouse Manager
• Willingness to take on new assignments and actively seek out new work as needed Must be willing to work overtime as needed Education/Certificate/License/ Skills and/or Experience
• Attention to detail is a must
• High School degree
• Valid Drivers licenses clear of driving violations
• Must pass a drug screen, DOT physical, and background check
• Forklift experience is a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Heavy lifting and/or carrying at least 150 pounds or more
• Frequent bending and walking
• Manual dexterity
• Must be able to read and write

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The noise level in the work environment is usually mildly noisy.

$23.00 – $26.00 per hour
