Lumber Yard Associate

Join our team as a Lumber Yard Associate and play a crucial role in our daily operations. We’re seeking an energetic, safety-conscious individual to handle materials and provide exceptional customer service in our lumber yard and warehouse.
Schedule:
Monday
- Friday, NO weekend work required!
What You’ll Do:
- Operate forklifts safely to load and unload materials
- Build and stage orders for customer pickup and delivery
- Guide customers through our yard to find materials
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment and quality control
- Maintain a clean, organized yard and storage areas
- Assist with occasional local deliveries using company vehicles
- Help position trucks for loading/unloading
- Conduct equipment safety inspections
What You’ll Need:
- 1-2 years retail experience (lumber industry experience preferred)
- Forklift or heavy equipment experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Excellence in customer service
- Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Full range of motion in arms and hands
- Capability to climb on/off equipment
- Both close-up and distance vision
- Stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
