As a Packing Line Associate, you will be responsible for packaging materials, maintaining inventory, and supporting shipping operations. Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Packaging & Material Handling:

Package materials according to Shop Order instructions and Packaging Profiles. Skid materials and generate computer-assisted setups. Select and set up proper knives for slitter heads and lay out tooling.

Inventory & Supply Management:

Maintain inventory of supplies such as banding, seals, edge protectors, paper separators, and skids. Inspect and measure materials using required tools for production and shipping.

Equipment Operation:

Load/unload coils onto flatbed trucks and railcars using a forklift and overhead crane (experience is a plus). Ensure proper placement of coils within the warehouse.

Support & Administration:

Assist operators and helpers, and check shipping paperwork. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Work Environment & Safety:

Work in a hot warehouse environment and be physically capable of walking, standing, and bending throughout your shift. Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety at all times. Experience & Qualifications 1-3 years of experience working in a hot warehouse environment. Forklift and overhead crane experience is an advantage. Ability to read, follow instructions, and work effectively in a team. Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Schedule Day shift (1st Shift) with 10-hour or 12-hour shifts. Overtime and weekend work as needed.

Salary info:

$23 – $25 / hr
