This role involves managing production line inventory, replenishing materials, and supporting warehouse operations. Responsibilities

• Oversee production line inventory and restock materials as needed.
• Move finished goods from production lines to storage areas, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and transport goods to assigned locations with proper documentation.
• Support other departments with deliveries and pick-ups.
• Select and stage customer orders, monitor inventory movement, and log expiration dates and lot/serial numbers using handheld scanners.
• Take part in physical inventory counts.
• Safely operate powered industrial vehicles and manual pallet jacks.
• Adhere to safety and quality regulations, including GMP, HACCP, FDA, OSHA, USDA, and BRC standards.
• Maintain a clean warehouse and carry out general warehouse tasks.
• Use First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory management practices. Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

At least one year of experience operating material handling equipment and using handheld scanners in a manufacturing environment, OR a minimum of six months of manufacturing/production experience with forklift safety training.

Equipment Proficiency:

Skilled in operating stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, push, pull, and reach above shoulder height with objects weighing up to 60 pounds.

Skills:

Strong reading, writing, and counting abilities to ensure accurate inventory management. Work Environment This role is based in a large-scale food production facility in Gaffney, South Carolina.
