Greenville, SC 29609 •Schedule 7am – 7pm with rotating weekends• The Material Handler, Lettershop, will be responsible to ensure all Lettershop machines have the necessary and correct components for production. Keeping our production room neat, organized and set up for production runs
Essential Functions:
Reading and understanding the work ticket to provide the correct materials to the correct machines as needed
Reading and understanding the production schedule to proactively stage materials for the next job
Ensure all machines have enough stock items to continue running the job without stopping; never letting the machine run out of stock items.
Removes finished pallets from the lettershop placing them in an identified area organized as required
Removes material(s) from the lettershop and return to identified area in the warehouse
Remove empty APC’s/Roll Carts and return to designated area in Digital Print
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Remove recycling bins from the lettershop and loads on recycling trucks or near the shredder as required.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Experience with safely moving large, heavy pallets with an
ELETRIC PALLET
JACK or CART
No forklift usage in this role
Experience with inventory management
Basic computer knowledge
High School Diploma, or GED, or an equivalent combination of education/ experience
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Not responsible for supervising other employees.
Work Environment:
Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day and lift up to 50lbs
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.
Security Clearance:
Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
