Overview Ark Foods is seeking reliable and motivated packhouse employees to support our production operations at our Immokalee, FL packinghouse facility. Reporting to our Packhouse Supervisors, you will play a vital role in the daily packing and repacking of specialty vegetables, ensuring that our products meet quality standards and are efficiently prepared for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Support:

Assist in the packing and repacking of vegetables into various containers, including bulk boxes, clamshells, and bags.

Quality Assurance:

Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet company and safety standards.

Inventory Management:

Help maintain accurate inventory counts and assist in organizing products in the packhouse.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and fulfill customer orders.

Equipment Operation:

Operate basic machinery and equipment as required, ensuring safe and effective use.

Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.

Flexibility:

Be prepared to adapt to various roles within the packhouse as needed to support production needs.

Requirements:

Experience:

Previous experience in a labor or production role preferred, but not required; training will be provided.

Bilingual Skills:

Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus.

Team Player:

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
