To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com | LinkedIn | YouTube Responsibilities The primary role of the material handler position is to distribute materials throughout the production floor, scanning product, and moving it to specified locations while operating powered industrial trucks in a safe manner. Report to front line leadership. Communicate between shifts to anticipate & prepare for any production concerns Stock machines with correct materials by reading, interpreting and processing lot information and material type. Move product to and from appropriate machines to WIP area or Warehouse area. Verify ID stickers and carton labels using hand held scanner. Assist Palletizer or Shipping as needed. Stock warehouse with product as needed Maintain lot documentation when moving scrap. Report any non-conformances to front line leadership. Perform routine housekeeping and cleaning as assigned/required Uphold Safety Absolutes Work & perform to ISO standards, SOPs & established Work Instructions Uphold Quality Standards & follow the Absolutes. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting. Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English. Capable of lifting up to 35lbs repeatedly. Capable of operating a forklift in a safe and cautious manner to the satisfaction of the supervisor; six months of forklift driving experience required. Previous experience in material handling or shipping/receiving preferred. Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of

PPE:

PPE includes but is not limited to Bump Cap or Hard Hat, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection and Disposable Mask. Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working required overtime. Some computer skills with ability to interpret work orders High School Graduate or equivalent Negative drug screen results.
