Volt takes great care of our great hires. Volt is immediatelyhiring for Shipping and Receiving Associates in Memphis, Tennessee.

As a Shipping & Receiving Associate you will: Under direction ofthe immediate supervisor, perform duties related to receiving andshipping materials, by hand and using a Pallet Jack, and clamptruck.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Reads picking tickets and othershipping documents to determine items needed to fulfill customerrequirements. Pulls and prepares orders for shipment by verifyingproduct name, warehouse lot number, manufacturers lot number,weight, and package codes on labels versus the information listedon the picking ticket and bill of lading. Inspect packages fordamages prior to shipment. Loads trucks following the loadingguidelines. Assists with the material movement and completes theappropriate forms to record new locations. Unloads deliveries byhand. Verify accuracy of inbounds by comparing vendor’s bill oflading and other documentation with the material that is delivered.

Generates the receiving documentation and labels for Inboundmaterial when needed. Must be able to lift 55 lbs. repeatedly aspart of the job function. All other duties assigned. This is a fulltime opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

1 year or morerelated experience and/or training; or comparable combination ofeducation and experience. Ability to read and understand documentssuch as pick tickets, bills of lading, safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to operateRF scanner and Pallet Jack Regularly required to use hands tofinger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-55 lbs.

Pay Rate:

$16.50 -$17.00 per hour •Pay range offered to a successful candidate willbe based on several factors, including the candidate’s education,work experience, work location, specific job duties,certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
