Job Summary:

SCA is seeking hardworking and dependable individuals to join our Roadside Litter Crew. This team is responsible for keeping highways, interstates, and roadside areas clean and free of debris. Crew members play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and safety of public roadways by performing consistent litter removal services. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, physically capable of working outdoors in all conditions, and able to contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform roadside litter and trash removal along highways, medians, on/off ramps, and service roads Use hand tools such as grabbers, brooms, and shovels to assist in cleanup tasks Safely load collected trash into vehicles or designated disposal areas Conduct visual inspections of designated areas to identify and report large debris or potential hazards Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and equipment Ensure work is completed efficiently and in accordance with company quality standards Exercise caution and maintain awareness when working near traffic or in inclement weather Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist team leads with route coverage and respond to special clean-up assignments as needed Communicate clearly and respectfully with crew members and supervisors Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license preferred Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items for extended periods Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow verbal instructions and work effectively with a team
