Semi-Skilled Laborers and Burners/Cutters Job Summary:

We’re seeking experienced Semi-Skilled Laborers with Rigging Knowledge and Burners / Cutters to work on a ship docked in Mobile, AL. This 6-month assignment requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities:

Semi-Skilled Laborers:

1.

Perform semi-skilled labor tasks:

Assist with various tasks on the ship, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials. 2.

Use grinders and hand tools:

Safely and efficiently use grinders and hand tools to perform tasks.

Burners/Cutters:

1.

Burning and cutting:

Use plasma cutters and torch cutters safely and efficiently to cut and shape metal. 2.

Use hand grinders:

Safely and efficiently use hand grinders to perform tasks. 3.

Work in confined spaces:

Enter tanks and other confined spaces as needed, following safety procedures.

Requirements:

Physical demands:

Crouch, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces. 2.

Safety equipment:

Provide own hard hat, gloves, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and yellow safety vest. 3.

Work ethic:

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. 4.

Safety consciousness:

Prioritize safety and follow protocols. 5.

Communication:

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. 6.

Previous experience:

Required for both Semi-Skilled Laborers and Burners/Cutters positions.

Semi-Skilled Laborers:

Experience using grinders and hand tools.

Burners/Cutters:

Experience using plasma cutters, torch cutters, and hand grinders. 7.

Compensation:

Hourly rate: $20.00 per hour Weekly pay: $1100.00 per week (60 hours/week) Job duration: 6 months
