Job Description
Have you always wanted to get into lawn enforcement? Well, now is your chance to learn from the experts! Help the Appalachian Mountain Club Connecticut Chapter keep the A.T. clear and join the mowing work party on Saturday, July 5 from 9 am – 3 pm . No experience needed! Enjoy the gratification of seeing an open and clear Trail. This work party will mow a portion of the A.T. treadway near where the Trail crosses the Warren Turnpike in Falls Village, the A.T. treadway around the cornfield at the intersection of US 7 and CT 112 in West Cornwall, the Lions Head Trail treadway, and the Cobble Road treadway in Salisbury. Tools will be furnished. Bring water, work gloves, personal protection equipment (safety glasses and ear protection), and lunch/snacks. Registration required.
