As a Laborer you will be responsible for directing vehicles, ensuring safe operations, and performing various labor tasks at our waste management facility. Direct vehicles to appropriate dumping locations within the landfill or transfer station Communicate with drivers and equipment operators to ensure safe and efficient operations Perform visual inspections of waste loads to prevent disposal of unauthorized materials Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including litter control and general groundskeeping Operate basic equipment and tools as needed to support facility operations Maintain detailed records of waste loads, inspections, and any incidents Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and visitors Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or operational concerns to the supervisor
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in waste management or a similar role is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Good communication and teamwork skills Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
