We are seeking a Plant Team (Block Plant) member for our customer, County Materials located in Astatula, FL Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties:

Quality Control Clean up of equipment after production. General maintenance and housekeeping. Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials Operate remote machine stations to control flow of product Safely operate forklifts to move product and maneuver dump hoppers Use hand and power tools to assist in machinery repairs Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

Work Environment:

Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures Work near moving machinery and equipment – could include electrical hazards Work in a noisy environment

Physical Requirements:

Carrying/Lifting 10 – 40 Pounds frequently Carrying/Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionally Standing / Walking / Climbing Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending Pushing / Pulling /

Reaching Above Shoulder Experience & Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old. 0-2 years of related experience. Knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred. Exercise good judgment regarding work site unloading and operation Mechanical and/or Electrical knowledge preferred Ability to perform well as a team Self-motivator and must be flexible in order to accommodate needs of your team.
