MOT Laborer Position Available In Orange, Florida

Position Summary:

The “MOT” is responsible for the proper set up andtake down of all traffic control devices, as well as maintainingthe setup for the duration of the job.

Responsibilities:

Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies andprocedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and nearmisses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value – Safety,first in everything we do. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all MiddlesexSafety Policies and Procedures. Must be on site at scheduled start time and present for theDaily Huddle. Must be able to identify potential Hazards and assist inmaintaining a Safe Work environment for all Team Members. Be present for Weekly Toolbox Talks. Maintain good health status and be able to bend, push, pull,stoop and/or twist. Maintain a flexible work schedule to include day/night shiftwork with extended hours when necessary. Ensure proper set up, maintenance and removal of all trafficcontrols.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience MOT Laborer work. Preferred butnot required will be open to on-the-job training for the rightapplicant. MOT Advanced, certified. Preferred but will aid in offeringassistance to get MAOT certified with on-the-job training. Knowledge of FDOT and MUTCD standards. Can provide training tothe right applicant. Able to follow verbal instructions. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the worksite. CDL license preferred but not required.
