In this role, you will assist in the delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring that products are loaded and unloaded efficiently and safely. You will work closely with the delivery driver to provide excellent customer service and ensure timely deliveries. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety. Responsibilities Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring all items are secured properly. Support the delivery driver in navigating routes and delivering products to customers. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse and delivery vehicle. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns. Handle heavy lifting of packages and products, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used. Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency in loading and delivery processes. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with commercial driving practices is a plus; valid driver’s license may be required for certain roles. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment is beneficial; training may be provided. Strong customer service skills with a focus on positive interactions during deliveries.
