We are currently hiring a full-time, permanent Blaster’s Laborer based around the Winder, GA with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. As the Laborer, you will assist equipment operators and blasters with all equipment and the loading, mixing, unloading, and preparation of explosive products for the customer.

Other duties will include:

Assist Equipment Operators and Blasters at blast site in order to safely serve the customer. Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions while on blast sites in order to protect personal safety and the safety of others. Maintain safe working conditions on and near the blast site. Report all incidents and hazardous conditions to appropriate supervisors. Proactively support Safety programs by participating in training and safety meetings.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work in the heat
• This job is physically demanding
• Must be able to shovel and lift 55lbs repetitively
• Knowledge of MSHA and ATF regulations related to blasting operations is a plus
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including water trucks, forklifts, and Caterpillar machinery
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and withstand physical demands of the job
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
