You will spend most of your time working with our Salespeople/Designers to flip through rugs for clients, pull rugs from our warehouse, and lift and carry rugs as needed. Other times you will perform cleaning and organizing tasks.

These could include:

maintaining cleanliness in all areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common spaces. Tasks will include dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. You will also help to pack and ship orders. For organization, the Warehouse Showroom needs to be well kept. This means fine tuning all areas, making sure the rugs and all other inventory are where they are supposed to be. We look at the store as a stage and it needs to be treated as such. With everything in it’s place and things very nice and tidy! T To do well in this position, you will need to be physically fit enough to be able to lift 55lbs+, and to remain standing for most of the day. You should also be skilled enough to use basic tools in whatever ways your tasks for the day require you to do. (Sometimes we need a handyman for small tasks!) This is fun but physical work. We jokingly call it “Rug Crossfit” as customers constantly comment that “we don’t need to go to the gym”. We embrace it and love it. We need someone who can do the same. The Warehouse Showroom is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. We have fans galore but it is still hot and you will sweat a lot. I repeat, this is a physical job that every member of the Team tackles together each day. The more physical activity we have, the more rugs we sell. So we very much like to be very busy and physically active. If you are a person that can’t handle the heat, sweating or physical activity, then this is not the job for you. The vibe of the business is silly and fun, but we are extremely hardworking and serious about the business and require that same outlook for the person to fill this position. You need to have social skills to be able to be professional and friendly around our upscale customers. This position has a schedule of Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. This is not negotiable. Hours are approximately 9:45am-5pm. Sometimes we have to stay past 5pm to finish up with a customer, but usually we get out a few minutes past 5pm. Pay rate is $17-20 per hour.
