• What You’ll Do
• + Learn driving rules, safety, and how to operate garbage trucks through hands-on and classroom training + Ride along with experienced drivers and see what the job is all about + Assist with pre-trip inspections, vehicle upkeep, loading/unloading + Practice key skills like backing up, turning, and safe driving techniques + Work through training modules and prep for the CDL test + Keep track of your training progress + Follow company policies and safety rules + Communicate with trainers and your team •What You Need to Get Started•+ CDL •permit required•+ Clean driving record + Ability to pass DOT physical exam and drug/alcohol screenings.
