Driver Helper (Seasonal) MU Furniture Greensboro, NC 27407 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Drivers Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist the driver in the safe and efficient delivery of freight to various locations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made on time while maintaining a high level of customer service. This position requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Duties Assist the driver with loading and unloading freight from the vehicle. Help navigate routes and ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Ensure that all cargo is secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist with basic mechanical tasks as needed. Provide support in managing inventory and organizing freight at delivery locations. Qualifications Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Mechanical knowledge to assist with basic vehicle maintenance is a plus. Experience driving box trucks is preferred but not mandatory Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Must be able to lift Items and perform physical tasks as required. A valid driver’s license is required.
