• Who you are:
• The Redi-Rock Loader Operator & Laborer is responsible for all accuratestocking of inventory in the yard.

Responsibilities include making surethe correct Redi-Rock product is loaded on each tractor trailer fordelivery based upon the ticket. This position also coordinates allactivity in the stock yard. The Redi-Rock Loader Operator & Laborer andthe Redi-Rock Production Foreman and the Redi-Rock Division Manager workclosely together daily to ensure complete customer satisfaction andquality.

• Loader Operator Duties:

• 1.

Safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader with forks to load Redi-Rock product for delivery.2. Safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader with forks to stock inventory in the yard.3. Fully understand and follow the company’s philosophy as it pertains to customers4. Ensure contracted and company owned trucks are loaded with accurate product for delivery5. Act in a courteous and professional manner to all customers including third party6. Complete all maintenance on plant for the safe and efficient operation of the assigned plant including Plant/Yard inspections and maintenance (as per the Plant Maintenance Schedule)7. Maintain concrete block forms and surrounding area. Pour, strip and stockpile blocks in a neat, orderly, and safe manner8. Keep all yard and plant areas neat, orderly, and as safe as possible at all times9. Snow plowing, removal, and sanding of areas (if necessary)10. Perform daily pre-trip inspections11. Perform weekly grease (more frequently when needed)12. Ensure that equipment is always kept clean inside and out

• Redi-Rock Laborer Duties:

• 1.

Maintain concrete block forms (structurally)2. Strip, clean, oil and close forms3. Stack blocks for loader operator, stack in yard if needed4. Clean plant daily, sweep, keep area tidy and safe, power wash as needed5. Vibrate concrete forms with 20lb. backpack vibrator6. Maintain stockpile of rebar hooks or loops for blocks7. Maintain a positive attitude towards work and the team8. Maintain and clean kitchen area daily9. Follows appropriate environmental rules and regulations

• Desired Qualifications

• Education:

• High School Education or equivalent

• Skills:

• 1. Must be dependable, a team player and be safety conscious2. Must be able to deal professionally with plant employees and other drivers3. Common sense and good judgement and willingness to work4. Excellent defensive driving skills5. Advanced knowledge of equipment, plant and truck operations6. Must possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience:

• 1. Previous experience as a Redi-Rock Laborer to understand the block type and product is helpful2. Previous experience operating equipment including a front-end loader with forks

• Licenses and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License

• Restrictions:

• 1.

Must be able to maneuver in and out of equipment safely2. Must be able to lift or maneuver up to 75lbs. multiple times throughout the workday3. Must inspect all areas of equipment and plant, daily4. Must perform plant maintenance5. Perform multiple tasks under stressful situations over long periods of time while maintaining proper composure6. Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary7. Perform multiple tasks of sustained viewing activity at rear of loader utilizing mirrors while driving and manipulating controls

• Schedule:

• We guarantee 40 hours all year round! Voluntary layoffaccepted. Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary. SomeSaturday work required
