Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver/ Helper Stout Logistics Inc Charleston, SC 29403 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the delivery and installation of home appliances from Lowes, ensuring that our customers receive their products in excellent condition and with exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with delivery drivers / or helper. Duties Assist delivery drivers in loading and unloading appliances and HVAC units from the delivery vehicle. Safely transport items to customer locations, ensuring they are handled with care. Assemble appliances as needed upon delivery, following schematics and manufacturer instructions. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the delivery process. Troubleshoot minor issues related to appliance setup or operation, utilizing mechanical knowledge when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and installations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of how to Deliver and Install Refrigerators, Gas and Electric Ranges, Washer and Dryers Familiarity with electrical components and basic troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read and interpret schematics for appliance assembly. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently during deliveries.
