Day Labor Fitness Equipment Supply 3114 Freeman Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37406 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to support our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Responsibilities Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas. Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT HEAVY BOXES THIS IS PRIMARILY FOR UNLOADING TRUCKS WITH HEAVY BOXES AND STACKING ON PALLETS. APPROXIMATE 6 HOUR SHIFT
Experience Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with construction or manufacturing environments is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions effectively. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work conditions.
