Job Description BAE is seeking a Logistics Specialist to joinits organization.

Responsibilities:

Provides support to the logistics function preparing logisticsdocumentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools,test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required fordeployment. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for morecomplex equipment or components. Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment,components, repair parts and related manuals, tracks logisticsmaterials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities,review configuration changes to evaluate impact on logisticsdeployment, documents equipment, component and parts conditions andidentifies logistic support documentation to be included such asdrawings and technical manuals to support life-cycle ofproduct. Coordinates the verification, inspection, and receipt ofincoming material to ensure timely delivery to designatedareas. Visually checks all incoming material to verify quantity andfor any damage to package or contents. Compares accompanying paperwork against contents and originalpurchasing records to confirm that the proper items have beenreceived and inputs verification of same. Documents missing or damaged parts and completes necessarypaperwork. Adheres to company guidelines regarding the proper handling ofclassified and/or hazardous materials. Routes packages when needed. May assist in the delivery of packages throughout the facility,incorporating the use of power or manual equipment and hand toolsto move heavy or awkward materials or packages. Perform a combination of manual and clerical shippingduties. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying andreporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures along with customerrequirements to include transportation routing, schedules andpackaging requirements. Verifies quantity, and conformance of materials to statedidentifications and documentation. Work with computer systems including both in-house programs andcustomer portals. Enter vehicle information into vehicle maintenance system. Update inspection results, inventory counts, and taskcompletion. Use this data to track position of the vehicle within theoverall process. Generate replacement part requisitions. Update part requisition status. Prepare completed vehicle data for archival. Design, update, and modify reports for use. Extract data for use in compiling reports.

Required Education,Experience, & Skills Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience or equivalenteducation/experience Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work and succeed in a fast paced, deadline drivenenvironment Proficient utilizing Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, andAdobe PDFPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Team Lead or Management experience GCS – Army training experience Forklift experience Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings

PayInformationFull-Time Salary Range:

$51390 – $82260Please note: Thisrange is based on our market pay structures. However, individualsalaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but notlimited to: business considerations, local market conditions, andinternal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such asskills, education, and experience.
