Job Overview :
LRY Media Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Logistics Specialist to oversee the logistical aspects of our events. This role will be responsible for managing vendor setup and breakdown, coordinating storage inventory, creating floor plans, and recruiting/managing labor teams for event execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and ensures seamless event operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee vendor setup and breakdown, ensuring all logistics align with event timelines. Develop and manage event floor plans to optimize space, flow, and efficiency. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm delivery schedules, setup requirements, and teardown procedures. Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site event logistics, troubleshooting any issues as they arise. Maintain and manage the storage inventory, ensuring all event-related materials are organized and accounted for. Track event supplies, props, and equipment, coordinating restocking and repairs as needed. Oversee the packing and transportation of event materials to and from venues. Help recruit labor staff for event setup and breakdown. Schedule and manage a team of labor staff for event setup and breakdown. Provide clear instructions and oversee the loading, unloading, and placement of event materials. Ensure all labor team members adhere to safety protocols and event guidelines. Oversee vehicle maintenance and usage. Manage the inventory system. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Leadership Team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in event logistics, operations, or related fields. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in event management software, floor plan tools, and inventory tracking systems (e.g., Basecamp, Google Suite, Canva). Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate vendors, staff, and volunteers effectively. Ability to lift and transport event materials as needed. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event execution. Clean driving record. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of clients.
