Our mission emphasizes the importance of skill development and career advancement for our employees. Summary We are seeking a Logistics Associate to join our team at AMS Fulfillment. The Logistics Associate plays a crucial role in optimizing shipping operations and ensuring compliance with established logistics protocols. This position involves conducting scheduling and reporting on inbound/outbound deliveries using logistics software, MS Calendar and Excel. Responsibilities Daily audits and reporting of inbound/outbound deliveries. Scheduling outbound freight using routing portals. Scheduling inbound freight using dock calendar Loading of outbound trucks and documentation of compliance Interpret carrier, shipping and freight rules. May act as the lead interface with Client Services and Warehouse Operations Manager in matters related to shipping. Assist with shipping and freight improvement functions. Present results to management and assist with investigations. Assist with other Logistics Functions, Shipping and Transportation back-up. Other logistics-related duties as needed. Requirements Must have the ability to work independently and in a team in a warehouse environment. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of inbound outbound procedures Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel Capable of using information and reports to improve department processes, services and efficiency. Extensive experience in creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets. Must be punctual and regular attendance is required. Ability to understand and follow company policies. Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time. English required. Bi-lingual a plus. Must be able to bend, twist, and lift 40 to 50 lbs. Must have warehouse work experience Problem solving skills Previously forklift certified or the ability to become forklift certified a must Good Written and verbal communication skills a must Forklift and reach truck experience a plus This job operates in a warehouse environment and could be exposed to various temperature changes. This role typically requires standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, reaching, lifting and twisting.
