You will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Project Management, and external suppliers in a fast-paced, regulated (GMP) environment.

Procurement Support:

Assist with purchase order creation, tracking, and supplier communication. Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and inventory levels. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely receipt of raw materials, APIs, packaging components, and consumables.

Production Planning:

Collaborate with manufacturing and project management teams to align supply plans with production schedules. Help maintain and update the Production Schedule and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system. Support capacity planning and resource allocation activities.

Inventory Management:

Perform inventory reconciliation activities and cycle counts. Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, ensuring GMP compliance. Track material movement and support material disposition and release coordination with QA/QC.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure adherence to

GMP, GDP

(Good Documentation Practices), and regulatory requirements in all supply chain activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for audits and regulatory inspections.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Finance teams to align supply chain activities with project timelines and client deliverables. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain processes, systems, and workflows. Scope of Authority – span of control (work unit, site, department, division, etc.) , monetary value of budget/spend authority ( capital, operating, etc.), P&L responsibility, etc. Collaborates cross-functionally with departments across the facility to ensure timely and compliant handling of purchases, while supporting the site’s financial integrity through effective vendor coordination and relationship management. Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations and their impact on supply chain operations (preferred).

ERP Systems:

Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (SAP) and procurement platforms. Understanding of inventory reconciliation processes, cycle counting, and material traceability. Knowledge of key supply chain metrics and KPIs (e.g., inventory turns, on-time delivery, supplier lead times). Ability to analyze supply chain data (e.g., inventory levels, supplier performance) and provide actionable insights.
