Responsibilities:
- + Provide authoritative expertise in Support Equipment (SE) planning, analysis, acquisition, and sustainment to ensure compatibility with UAS platforms and ground operations.
+ Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for SE designs, including maintenance stands, handling fixtures, diagnostic equipment, and other mission-essential gear. + Evaluate packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) requirements for UAS systems and components to ensure compliance with military and DoD standards. + Analyze and validate packaging methods, container designs, preservation techniques, and transport strategies that support lifecycle cost reduction and mission readiness. + Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and transportation stakeholders to define proper asset configuration and transportation planning aligned with unit deployments and sustainment operations. + Support development and validation of documentation such as PHS&T plans, SE support strategies, and material handling procedures. + Provide subject matter input to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), design reviews, logistics assessments, and acquisition planning. + Advise the Government on technical risks and improvements related to specialized SE or PHS&T challenges encountered in UAS deployment and sustainment. + Ensure compliance with Army regulations, MIL-STD packaging specs, and DoD PHS&T policy. + Provide expertise that goes beyond standard labor categories—bringing niche knowledge of acquisition logistics, industrial processes, or complex system integration. + Adhere to the company’s AS9100 policies, procedures and guidelines. + Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Preferred:
Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in a technical, business, or management discipline from an accredited institution. +
Acceptable:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field from an accredited college or university.

Experience:
- + Recognized as a specialist with unique capabilities or experience not typical of standard labor categories. + Minimum of 15 years of defense, industrial, or acquisition-related experience in a relevant field of expertise. + Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in complex acquisition, logistics planning, and support systems integration.
