Position Overview:

We are seeking a Tool Coordinator to join our team. This role involves assessing manufacturing requirements, verifying customer requests, and coordinating with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues. The analyst will work with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards, provide guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts, and participate in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state-of-the-art, cost-effective products.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess manufacturing requirements and verify customer requests.
Coordinate with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues.
Work with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards.
Provide guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts.
Participate in the analysis and research of new technology to provide cost-effective products.
Gather manufacturing and product information to develop and recommend solutions to manufacturing requirements.
Analyze, procure, and oversee procurement processes for manufacturing tool services products and services.
Explore all possible options to resolve potential impacts to budget and manufacturing schedules.
Participate in the development and management of overhead and capital budgets for the acquisition and inventory of tool services products.
Review on-hand inventory and coordinate re-distribution.

Day-to-Day Activities:

Turn and check tools in and out of a secure area.
Verify inventory list matches what is in KITS.
Monitor inspection cycles and dates.
Utilize TCMAX or inventory control systems.
Manage requirements for reordering.
Follow additional requirements as per

AFI21-101.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
All PPE required will be provided by the client.

Required Experience:

Interim secret clearance or ability to obtain
Knowledge of Air Force regulations.
Tool management and control experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
At least 3 years of aviation experience.

Preferred Experience:

Active Secret Clearance
Military background.
Experience with

AFI21-101.

Aviation QA experience.

Education Level:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
