Logistics and Inventory Planner Raytheon RAPS Camden, AR 71701 Join Our Team as a Logistics and Inventory Planner Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems, LLC (R2S) is where innovative strategies meet effective defense solutions. As a joint venture between Raytheon and Rafael, our mission is to strengthen Israeli defense and bolster the U.S. supply chain. We are actively seeking a skilled Logistics and Inventory Planner to drive organizational success in our Supply Chain division.
Your Day-to-Day:
Imagine yourself navigating the complex yet rewarding responsibilities of planning materials within our dynamic manufacturing environment. You’ll harness your expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to turn data into actionable insights. By participating in collaborative meetings and cross-functional workshops, you’ll guide your team to reach shared goals with precision. Produce and maintain purchase requisitions for both direct and indirect orders, ensuring compliance with change orders through strategic coordination. Connect cross-departmental disciplines influencing Contracts, Program Managers, Engineering, and the Supply Chain aspects of our projects. Work closely with Program Managers to release requisitions that align seamlessly with forecasts and contractual commitments. Navigate ERP system complexities, optimizing production schedules and reinforcing our operations’ structural integrity. Analyze and communicate material availability while managing inventory health and providing strategic insights through performance metrics. Be proactive in material risk assessment, and deliver comprehensive reports to vital stakeholders. Embrace process improvement initiatives.
Basic Skills Needed:
Hold a Bachelor’s in business or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ direct experience; or at least 8 years’ practical experience. Exposure to
FAR/DFAR
compliance is necessary. Exceptional organizational and adaptive problem-solving skills. Articulately communicate across departments and hierarchical levels in both oral and written formats. Capacity to operate autonomously while overseeing multiple projects efficiently. Proficient in MRP application use. U.S. citizenship required, with the ability to obtain and retain security clearance status.
Desirable Qualifications:
An active Secret Clearance is advantageous. Previous work with government contracts, encompassing both Department of Defense (DoD) and non-DoD sectors. Proficiency in IFS systems and MS Office Suite.
Work Setup:
Majority of your role will be remote, with limited travel to offices in Arlington, VA or Camden, AR.
