We are currently seeking a PermanentMaterial Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is an integralpart of our manufacturing operation, ensuring that all materialrequirements are met to keep our production lines running smoothly.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating andmanaging all aspects of material planning, procurement, andinventory control. This role is a great opportunity for anexperienced professional to contribute to our company’s growth andsuccess while developing their career in a challenging andrewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and executematerial planning strategies to support production schedules andmeet customer demands. 2. Collaborate with procurement, production,and sales teams to ensure material availability and minimizestockouts or overstocks. 3. Monitor and manage inventory levels tooptimize turnover and minimize carrying costs. 4. Analyze materialrequirements and forecast future needs based on historical data,sales trends, and production plans. 5. Coordinate with suppliers toensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials. 6. Resolveany issues related to material shortages, quality, delivery, orcost. 7. Participate in cross-functional teams to implementcontinuous improvement initiatives. 8. Maintain accurate records ofall procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices,and supplier performance metrics. 9. Comply with all companypolicies and procedures, as well as applicable laws andregulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business,Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 yearsof experience in material planning, procurement, or a similar rolein the manufacturing industry. 3. Strong knowledge of materialmanagement principles, inventory control, and procurementprocesses. 4. Proficiency in using material planning andprocurement software. 5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, anddecision-making skills. 6. Strong communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teammembers at all levels of the organization. 7. Ability to handlemultiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.8. Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. 9.Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similarcertification is a plus. Interested in hearing more?
