Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner/Inventory Control Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes by coordinating schedules, managing resources, and optimizing workflow. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization. Collaborate with various departments including manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain to ensure seamless operations. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure materials are available for production. Analyze production data and identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Utilize MRP systems to manage scheduling and inventory control effectively. Implement Lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and improve productivity. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure compliance with quality control standards throughout the production process. Skills Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and SAP for effective production management. 2+ years of experience in production planning/inventory control Ability to assemble complex schedules while considering various constraints and priorities. Knowledge of fabrication processes and quality control measures in a manufacturing environment. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
